Ginger

In the shadows
Of grief and anger
I cry out your name
So you can hear
We may not always
Seen eye to eye
But we had so much to share
You were my secret friend
You lived and dwelled
In the shadows of my thoughts
In vain I still call your name
Hoping you will hear
We were friends
But most of all we were Sisters
Caring for each other
When friends would treat us wrong
Having some one to talk to
When we felt like noone else would listen
We were different
But at the same time so a like
If I ever needed help you were there
May it have been boyfriends, work or life
We were playmates, roommates
Friends or some times enemies
But after and before that we were sisters
Now what do I do?
I can't turn and ask you for help
Because you are gone
But will never be forgotten
You will always live in my heart
I Love You My Sister

Ginger

I never thought I would have to say good-bye
for the final time.
I thought we would become best friends.
You loved life just as it was.
You wanted to paint the heavens,
now you can.
Paint your wings my friend, my sister.
Let the stars shine for me.
I miss you.
I will send you on your way,
my dear sweet sister.
You are my sweet Ginger.
So farewell my friend, my pal, my sister.
