I really learned a lot from this book. Dr. Slate is a professor of parapsychology at Athens State University in Alabama. This book discusses many of the scientific studies done over the years at Athens State and reviews much of the results or conclusions made during the course of these studies. The format might be a bit dry for some people but I found the information very valuable. Several other books I have read left me with the feeling that I just read a bunch of "fluff" without substance. Finally substance and a process that can be followed and statistics to support their claims based on scientific research. Reincarnation and past life regression is now real to me.
